Saturday Fun

Have I mentioned how awesome the location is for my Saturday Club House Artists? I love it there. Sometimes I wish I had more time to just sit at the windows and stare at the water.

But I don't have all the time in the world to slow down on a Saturday. Sigh. Instead we draw. Check out my awesome newbie's work of art!

Three, Two, One, Smile!

We continued to talk about breaking down complex objects into three basic 3D shapes so that it makes it easy for the Club House Artists to draw ANYTHING! The bug viewer box was such a cute drawing that I decided to have this group draw it as well. They had fun drawing the little bugs inside and giving them food and friends.

Then we drew my camera that was sitting on the table. I asked the Club House Artists what were the basic shapes of the camera and which one we should draw first. We ran out of time to completely finish our Valentine Camera drawings, but they did an awesome job! Enjoy!

New Club House Artists

I was really excited about our new Club House Artists. In fact, two of our artists are return members, so it was a treat to have them back in the class. We have a lot of talent in this group which makes my job a bit easier. I'm looking forward to some great drawings with this group since it seems like I can try some more challenging drawings. Check out their first two weeks of drawings!
